ZHANGYE - JIAYUGUAN(230KM,2.5H)
Drive to Mati Temple, first built in the northern Liang period (397-460), this temple originally was a Chinese Buddhist temple, and later gradually changed into a Tibet Buddhist temple decorated outside with numerous colored flags. Comparing with Zhangye, here is completely different in terms of spirit and culture.
Set off on a road trip to Jiayuguan in the afternoon. Upon arrival, visit the Jiayuguan pass. This Ming Dynasty fort guards the strategic Jiayuguan pass, at the western end of the Great Wall – this was the last section built by the Ming Dynasty.
Lunch will be served at local restaurant and Dinner will be on own.
