The New Orient Express has been upgraded in 2020, and compared with the original body, the new one has greatly improved the tightness, stability and shock absorption, and it is equipped with large glass view windows. Diamond Gold cabin has the largest area of private room with shower, and the shower is separated from dry and wet, also it is with the most advanced partition material design adopted, the entire ceramic toilet is exclusively used as well. Each cabin is equipped with air volume adjustment switch, and each bed of the private room is equipped with a 5-core socket for charging computers, mobile phones and with USB interface.

The New Orient Express is currently China’s highest luxury tourist train, hardware configuration, dining service and the quality of service personnel are comparable to the star-rated hotels. Accommodation carriages have blue diamond series and gold diamond series of two kinds of compartment rooms, bathroom equipment is available. It is indeed with the whole experience of high-end VIP travel services. The train is consisting of 18 passenger cars, including 2 categories of sleeping cars. The entire train is fully air-conditioned, a generator car is providing electric power even during the stops of the train.

Step onto the luxurious Gold Diamond Carriage where each carriage boasts four suites, ideal for accommodating two guests. These spacious cabins cover an area of approximately 10m2 and feature expansive viewing windows, premium 1.5 x 2m mattresses, a well-appointed desk, a wardrobe, a secure safe, and a private shower and restroom with separate wet and dry areas.

Each Blue Diamond Carriage features 7 private rooms designed to accommodate up to 4 guests, although it's typically recommended for 2-3 occupants. In the case of families and friends travelling together, a maximum of 4 individuals can share a room. Each room is furnished with an extra-wide lower berth measuring 0.9 x 1.95m and an upper berth measuring 0.7 x 1.82m, both equipped with damping devices for comfortable use and easy storage against the wall when not in use. Additionally, public restrooms and showers are conveniently located at both ends of the carriage.

Payment and Cancellations
- Deposit: 25% of total pacakage to confirm the booking.
- Full payment is due 4 weeks before booked itinerary start. Full payment is required immediately for bookings made less than 28 days before start of the itinerary.In case of delayed payment, A Trails reserves the right to cancel booked services and withhold the deposit.
- Intermediate bank charges and fees are the responsibility of the client.
- Cancellation policy: Once the deposit is paid, if the cancellation is due to personal reasons of the guest, the deposit will not be refunded.
• A 50% charge of the contract amount will apply for cancellations made 15 to 29 days before the departure date (inclusive).
• A 70% charge of the contract amount will apply for cancellations made 1 to 14 days before the departure date (inclusive).
• An 85% charge of the contract amount will apply if the cancellation occurs on the day of departure.

- Age Limit: If guests are 80 years old or above when making reservations, at least one adult (aged 18-59) is required to accompany them. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
- Single Room Difference: This product does not arrange hotel room sharing, New Oriental Express suite, or private room sharing. The quotation is calculated based on two people staying in one room. If your order results in a single room, please be prepared to pay the additional cost for the single room.
