Start your visit with Wat Visoun, influenced by the Thai- Lu architecture, and That Makmo, the watermelon shaped stupa. Proceed to Wat Xieng Thong, the most beautiful temple of Luang Prabang dating back from 16th century. Finally, climb up Phousy Hill for a panoramic view of the city and the Mekong River.

Day 2
LUANG PRABANG – WATCH TAGBAT - PAK OU CAVES
After an early rise, watch Tagbat, the monks' round: a ritual part of Lao people’s life that offers a memorable experience and great snapshots. Follow your guide, who will explain about the strict customs and rules involved. Visit the local market. Return to your hotel for breakfast.
Start your day of visits at the National Museum, the former Royal King’s Palace, and continue with Wat Mai and its five-tiered room and beautifully carved veranda. Then embark at the local pier of Luang Prabang on a traditional boat and cruise upstream on the Mekong River to visit the sacred Buddha caves. On the way stop at Thin Ho, a picturesque village to get a glimpse of daily life. Visit Tham Ting and Tham Phoum caves in which you will find hundreds of Buddha statues.

Return to Luang Prabang by boat. On the way back stop at Ban Xang Khong, handicraft village specialized in silk weaving and paper products. Visit Ock Pop Tok, weaving workshop, and walk in the old city center or shop at Hmong market.

LUANG PRABANG – KUANGSI WATERFALL
Breakfast at your hotel.
Today you will join an excursion by car to Kuangsi waterfall. On the way, enjoy a short walk through the forest. After admiring the scenery, take a swim in one of the nearby clear pools. Below the tiered limestone pools lies the Khmu village Ban Thapene, whose men are especially good basket weavers.

- Traditional dinner: the dinner will be in a traditional house with a beautiful view and good atmosphere. You can choose if seating on the floor, on a stroll or on a high chair. Enjoy the company of the family and talk about their culture, traditions and local life
- During the visit of the Bakan tower of Angkor Wat temple, visitors are required to wear a proper attire covering shoulders and knees, as this temple is still considered as a sacred site. The temple will close on the Uposatha, the Buddhist religious days, four days a month in accordance with the Lunar Calendar.
- Bakan tower can accommodate a maximum of 100 persons at once, please stay in line if you wish to climb up
- Tonle Sap Lake: High Level Water Season (August-February) / Low Level Water Season (March-July)
- During the visit of Banteay Srei temple, visitors should wear shirts or blouse covering shoulders and arms and long skirts and trousers covering legs
- To protect the infrastructure of archeology site, the authority Apsara does not permit the vehicle 45 seats up to enter the Angkor Thom area. They allow only for the coaster/bus 22 or 25 seats to enter this area. So for the group over 17 persons, we will split into 2 buses or more and with 1 guide only. We will keep you updated if there will have further notice
