Payment and Cancellations

• CHILD POLICY
  For clients travelling with children, the following child policy is applied. Maximum 02 children + 01 infant per party are entitled to discount rates.

  For infants between 0-2 years old (below 2 years of age at the time of travel):
  • Infants sharing bed with parents: Free of accommodation charge.
  • Infants using baby cot: Upon request, subject to supplement
  • Land services: 90% discount of adult rate
  • Flights: Upon request, subject to supplement (TBA)

  For children between 2 to 12 years old (below 12 years of age at the time of travel)
  • Children sharing bed with parents: 25% discount of adult’s package rate
  • Children using extra bed: 15% discount of adult’s package rate total
  • Children in twin-shared: No discount
  • Flights: Upon request, subject to supplement (TBA)

• CANCELLATION POLICY:
  Cancellation notice received (*):
  - Between 30 and 21 days prior to arrival : 20% of total amount
  - Between 20 and 7 days prior to arrival : 50% of total amount
  - Less than 7 days : 100% of total amount
  - (*) Cancellation policy may subject to changed depend on condion of each hotel property , if any outside of above general policy , our consultant will inform you at time of confirmation
• Payment should be received at least 30 days before departure. Typically a deposit of 30% will be required at the time of booking. Specific conditions may apply

• Please note on the boat during the Ha Long Bay cruise there won't be any guide on board. Cruise itinerary and schedule are subject to weather conditions
• We reserve the right to charge a supplement to all guests if Tourism Authorities eventually decide to increase the fees applied to cruises in Ha Long Bay (e.g. USD 21/person on the 2D/1N cruise program)
• There are many boat companies offering cruises on Halong bay. The comfort level, decorations style, even itinerary may be slightly different. The itinerary suggests a general impression of the activities, specific details will be advised depending on the confirmed cruise and may be subject to change depending on weather conditions

• ATrails has introduced a voluntary carbon offsetting initiative for our travellers to compensate for unavoidable emissions during their tours with us. Emissions during multi-day package tours (not including international flights to our destinations) are pegged at a cost of $1.50 per traveller per day. This amount is based on average daily emissions of travellers across our eight destinations. Our official carbon offsetting partner is Gold Standard. Contributions from clients to our carbon offsetting initiative will go into a destination-specific fund to retire carbon credits from a Gold Standard project in that country.
