Travelling in the Mongolian Gobi desert would give you unforgettable landscape mixture of desert, mountainous terrain and borderless steppe. Lifestyles in the Gobi will let you experience the family-like, warm hearted local herders who extend their hospitality the year round. Here is an opportunity to see cool climates and hot sand dunes; as well as, remains of Ancient cities, monasteries, dinosaurs. This historical area linked Europe and Asia through the famous Silk Road.

We will pick you up from the hotel and visit Sukhbaatar Square (Chingis square) and National History Museum. We will see Mongolian traditional concert at 6pm. After it, we will have dinner and transfer you to the hotel.

After breakfast, we will drive to Mongol Nomadic camp to see Mongol Nomadic Show which demonstrate traditional living way of real Mongolian nomads and breeding and using of five kinds of livestock and movement from one place to another using ox, yak, camel and horse carts which are the carts between 10am and 12pm. After lunch we will drive to Khustai NP. The park lies in the foothills of southern Khentii mountain range and it is the place where you can see wild horse called Takhi known as Przewalski horse to the world. The wild horses survive in nature by themselves because they have been reintroduced successfully to their homeland after 40 years of extinction. Currently, the number of Takhi has already reached more than 300.

Drive to Kharakhorin (now it is small village) where was the ancient capital of Chingis Khaan’s Mongolia and was established in 1220. After arriving, we will visit Erdenezuu Monastery which was built in 1586 and is surrounded by a massive 400m X 400m wall. Only a few temples remain standing after the communist purges of 1930s. In previous times the grounds held over 60 temples with 10,000 monks using them for daily worship. Then, we will visit Kharkhorin’s museum.

Today, we will drive to Ongi temple. Ongiin Khiid is known as complex of ruins of two monasteries called Barlim Khiid and Khutagt Khiid. There is not much left to see, but there are plenty of interesting ruins to explore and one of the monasteries is rebuilt recently.

Visit the Bayanzag area. Known as a Flaming Cliffs "Cradle of Dinosaurs" this is where the first nest of dinosaur eggs ever discovered was found in 1922. A site famous for the remains of dinosaur that lived here 60 million years ago. You can walk around where dinosaurs once roamed and see saxaul trees and other classic desert vegetation.

We will drive to Khongor sand dunes. At 28 m in height the giant sand dunes stretch lengthwise some 180 kms. Sometimes the area is only several hundred meters wide but can grow to 7-20 kms. We will hike to the top of the sand dunes. Camel riding is possible. It is around 12USD per person per hour.

In the morning we will drive to Yol Valley (Vulture canyon). The Vulture Canyon, which nestles between the beautiful peaks of Gurvansaikhan of the Three Beauties. After arrival at the canyon, we will take 2-hour hike through the canyon. On our way in/out of the park we can visit the local Natural History Museum where dinosaur eggs and bones, petrified trees and a snow leopard are on display.

Today we will drive to Tsagaan Suvarga. The scarp of Tsagaan Suvarga is located in Ulziit soum of Dundgobi province. It is interesting to see the sheer slope, facing east, which from cliff is 30 meters high and 100 meters wide. Over thousands of years the wind has created this amazing structure.

All rates are quoted in RMB and are subject to change without prior notice. Inclusions and exclusions in the tour packages are indicated at the end of each itinerary. Local English speaking guides are accompanying tours and transfers in each destination. German, French, Italian, Spanish and Russian and Chinese speaking guides are available on request in major cities and subject to confirmation.
A delivery fee will be charged according to the distance traveled, if any train tickets are required to be delivered to clients’ hotel.

Domestic and international air tickets are non-refundable once issued. You are obliged to pay full airfare (inclusive of any tax and fuel surcharge) of any cancelled tickets based on the contract rate.
We reserve the right to re-arrange the order of any tour program, to cancel or substitute elements of any tour itinerary without notice, when local conditions require such changes. All itineraries depending on domestic flight confirmations are subject to changes.
Any increase in taxes or fuel surcharges imposed by the authorities will be advised as soon as we are informed of them, and they will be added to the invoice.

This agreement, its contents and all related documentation sent over to the customer/tour operator are strictly confidential and must not be disclosed to any third parties.
We consider complaints as valuable feedback to improve service delivery levels. We request that service delivery failures or customer concerns, be reported during the customer’s stay, to one of our representatives. It is the aim of the company to solve any irregularity on the spot. The company reserves the right to refuse to take action on perceived irregularities submitted to the company 14 days after the customer returns back home.
During the term of this agreement, neither party shall be in default of its obligations to the extent that its performance is delayed or prevented by causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, bankruptcy of a vendor, strikes and other labor disturbances, acts of war, or civil disturbances, or other equivalent or comparable events.
The client agrees to indemnify and to save A Trails – Daocheng from harm and against all damage or injury (including death) to property or person(s) resulting from intentional or negligent acts or omissions from their respective officers, employees, agents, contractor or subcontractor in connection with the performance of this agreement.
This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of China (and/or applicable in relation to the country it is legally represented) for the time being in force and the parties agree to submit any dispute arising between the parties under this agreement to arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of the respectable Arbitration Institute, Office of the Judiciary applicable at the time of submission of the dispute to arbitration and the conduct of the arbitration thereof shall be under the auspices of the specific Arbitration Institute accordingly.

The Company is not responsible for any last-minute closure of specific regions or tourism sites caused by decisions taken by local or national authorities to restrict access hereto. We will provide alternative itineraries where necessary and reduce cancellation fees to a minimum, however, such imposed closures are beyond our control and constitute a case of force majeure.
