Arrive at Luang Prabang Airport. Collect your luggage and meet your local guide at the exit after the immigration. You will then be transferred to the hotel.

Start your visit with Wat Visoun, the city's oldest temple featuring That Makmo, a watermelon shaped stupa. Proceed to Wat Xieng Thong, one of the areas' most beautiful religious buildings thanks to its rich decorations. Climb up Phousy Hill for a panoramic view of the city and the Mekong River.

Watch Tagbat, the monks’ rounds, early in the morning. This ritual, part of Lao people’s life, offers a memorable experience and great snapshots. Listen to your guide while they will explain how to follow the strict customs and rules involved. Visit the local market and return to your hotel for breakfast.
Visit the National Museum, former Royal King’s Palace, and Wat Mai with its five-tiered roof and exquisitely carved veranda. Proceed to embark at the local pier of Luang Prabang on a traditional boat and cruise upstream the Mekong River to visit the sacred Buddha caves. On the way stop at Thin Hong, a picturesque village to get a glimpse of daily life. Visit Tham Ting and Tham Phoum caves in which you find hundreds of Buddha statues.
Lunch at a local restaurant near the caves.
Return to Luang Prabang by boat. On the way back stop at Ban Xang Khong, handicraft village specialized in paper products. Once arrived, visit Ock Pop Tok, a lovely weaving workshop, before exploring the old city or shopping at Hmong market.

Today you will join an excursion by car to Kuangsi waterfall, situated 32 km to the west of Luang Prabang. On the way, take a short walk through the forest and, after enjoying the scenery, take a swim in one of the nearby clear pools. Below the tiered limestone pools lies the Khmu village Ban Thapene. Khmu men are excellent basket weavers and can sometimes be watched crafting.

Return to the city and transfer to the airport for your departure flight (Customer should have a visa for Vietnam before entering)
